Hellooo
I want to talk about this wonderful concert. This is mine. It was a gift. A precious one.
Whenever I feel down, I open and watch this. I know everything, every single word in this concert by heart. I will never be tired of watching this.
Anyway let me talk about the content. So this concert is with the Metropole Orchestra. And the tracklist is

2. Jillian (I'd give my heart)
3. The Howling
4. Stand my Ground
5. The Cross
6. What Have You Done ( with Keith Caputo)
7. Hand of Sorrow
8. Forgiven
9. Somewhere (with Anneke van Giersbergen)
10. The Swan Song
11. Memories
12. Our Solemn Hour
13. The Other Half of Me (with George Oosthoek)
14. Frozen
15. The Promis
16. Angels
17. Mother Earth
18. The Truth Beneath The Rose
19. Deceiver of Fools
20. All I Need
21. Ice Queen
These versions of the songs is way better than the original ones, in my opinion. Orchestra made them great. Even though Sharon was sick that day, she was really good. I didnt even realize she was sick, later watch the documentary which is in the dvd also, I learned at that time.
The conductor Jules Buckley comes the stage and starts with Ouverture. If I remember correctly this one belongs to him. Then while it is ending, one by one the members of the band comes. And finally Sharon comes in her big coat thingy with long tail. It was like stripping actually. First the tail, coat thingy and later the big skirt. After Hand of Sorrow, she rushes to change it completely and Robert starts talking. Sharon comes back with beautiful white dress and band changes instruments to acoustic ones. This is slow song section of course. After Memories Sharon rushes again, this time she comes with a black dress. She sings with it until Deceiver of Fools. Rushes and comes, green dress. And with Ice Queen the concert finishes. I know I didnt give much detail about the concert but you should see it. I cant tell properly.
I dont always listen the songs because I think they are special and magical so I dont want them to be spoiled. And one song is never enough, I end up watching the whole concert, once I start with one song. It's like a therapy. They all very sweet people. You can feel the connection among all of them. And the look Sharon and Robert give each other while she is singing is beautiful. I dont know You should see it yourself. Im finishing with the concert video. Hope you enjoy!
