La Copa de La Vida / The Cup of Life - Ricky Martin

“Here we go!”

Today on unforgettables.

Is the excitement about the match or music?

Before starting,I must confess that this is my favorite world cup music. I can say, happily this song exists. I don't know if there is better than this.

The year is 1998. A song is like a bomb in the summer, a man who comes like a thunder!

The world is wriggly! 1998 France World Cup.

Ronaldo , Maradona , Zidane, Rivaldo ,Batistuta , Owen…
It is still said that this world cup is a jubilee for the legends. And an unforgettable music which comes together with this excitement. Nobody can stop singining the chorus "go go go ale ale ale!"

I don't know it was released in a good era or it is really good but this song makes me excited and happy. It makes you feel like you should go run like Ronaldo , Zidane in the fields! La copa de la vida- long live the life's cup! Salute to the wonderful song from a wonderful tournament and to the wonderful man!

Un, dos , tres. Ole! Ole! Ole!

Studio Ghibli 25 Years Concert by Joe Hisaishi

THE SMELL IN WHRILS FROM THE MUSİC: LOVE!

The movies that while watching, makes me fill with love, the music that while listening to makes me fill with bliss. There are so much to talk about these two men. There are tens of words to write. Miyazaki and his 30-year best friend Joe Hisaishi. We may talk about Miyazaki, his movies, and the music which are by Joe Hisaishi in his movies, one by one in detail. But in this writing, I want to talk about Studio Ghibli’s 25th Year Concert which I’ve found while I was searching for my assingment and I can’t get enough of watching it.

Think about  a concert hall which is as big
as all outdoors, a big choir + an orchestra ( about 1160 people!!!), full to overflowing audience. I think watching this concert made me see that how much these two men are loved. This much people who are affected by Miyazaki’s World,Hisaishi who brings the notes which gives Miyazaki’s movies the power.. Even though there wasn’t a recently relesed movie in that time, a lot of people came to watch it. There wasn’t a popstar on the stage, there was a conductor who puts his signature under this attentive success.. That signature was put on the hearts of the people with whom he Works and Miyazaki, so it must be true.
I think he is one of the most smiling conductors. He looks best on the stage. He should stay there forever! And here is the concert:

And this moment is my favorite and makes me sadden. When there are a lot of people who are surprised and happy to see Miyazaki, He just gives his flower to Hisaishi demurely and touches his arm with love clearly.. That moment Hisaishi bows to him with tears in his eyes while Miyazaki was going back to his seat. This moment gives me chills. In the name of the power of music and thankfulness!  And then, Miyazaki is moved and applauds him tens of times without stopping and proudly! This was a wonderful feeling that they made me feel without knowing about them.  And later, I thought that the things and feelings which Miyazaki wants to tell are completed by this music. I wish this magic never ends.
And confession time, I got really jealous. I would love to be loved and applauded as much as Miyazaki, I would love to compose beautiful music like Joe Hisaishi and live that moments. Who doesn’t want to be a part of that wonderful work on a beautiful stage? And I would love to be an audience in that great ambience, a lot. Art is undescribably strong.
May your art shine. It is very speacial what you give to this World. Yes, I know you came from another universe to this World, to make music. And you are a special man to carry the torch of love, make the people smile, Miyazaki!  I love, a lot.

My favourite moment!!! >>>

Miyazaki is coming.

The Greatest Love / Choego-ui Sarang / 최고의 사랑

“Watching this drama is a blessing for you!”

Hellooo!

Today I want to talk about a drama I’ve just finished and enjoyed watching. At first episodes, I felt some Secret Garden breeze ( yes, in following days we weill have a review about it,too.) a lot. But I really enjoyed watching and finished in a short time.I think we should all agree that Secret Garden gave kdrama world a new male character. A character who is big-headed with a huge ego but at the same time who realizes, questions and finally accepts his love. I dont know that after Hyun Bin how this image could be given well but I loved that man who is a walking ego and ‘if I could see him in real life I would be angry’ kind of guy.  Yes, our guy Dokgo Jin is a hallyu star and the best actor in Korea without a doubt.  And he knows it. From outside he seems a gentleman but he is rude and adores himself. A man that when our main girl tries to look at his expensive car to see who is inside, he made her throw the garbage away and give wet wipe to clean his car instead of her wet clothes. Yes, this mistreated poor girl is a former girl group leader 10 years ago and when she was very popular, she was put in difficulties with scandalous rumors. She is a person who cannot say a boo to a goose. She always treats good to the ones who are bad to her and the reason why she is silent is the bond between her and her friends, also she has some secrets.
And..Lets come to the issue how this love started when these coincidences are happening. Right now, this is a song who makes my heart wriggle. Dokgo Jin had a very risky heart operation that he had low possibility to live. In the surgery room, a doctor makes his heart listen a song. The song of the popular girl group 10 years ago which goes “dugeun dugeun”. 10 years later, when he was looking if Gu Ae Jung is really a famous person, he finds the song which makes his heart beat faster. But he was going to live a normal life in a limit between 60 and 90. How did he fall in in love with this woman? Why? I know you will laugh at him thinking his heart is broke down. “ I am Dokgo Jin. I am special.” What will happen careless Dokgo Jin? The things will change when a perfect man falls in love with Gu Ae Jung, too. If you want to have fun, you should watch it. I am sure that you will want to be charged, too.

Cha Seung Won- Dokko Jin

Gong Hyo Jin- Gu Ae Jung

Yoo In-Na - Kan Se Ri

Yoon Kye- Sang - Yoo Pil Jo

Spoilerss!

I had a good laugh when Dokko Jin started his sentence “I don’t, I won’t. Don’t say that.” and finished after a u-turn. In the episode which Lee Seung Gi was a cameo, I laughed a lot when he was like Dokko Jin who is gentleman outside and bossing around and when they see people, they put their cheeks together and laugh with Dokgo Jin. The laughter is important here because Dokgo Jin’s laughter was very interesting.

I liked the scenes with Ding Dong.  The scenes when he thought he is close with Dokgo Jin. It was very sweet that they find solution together and he apologized when he thought Ding Dong sold iron man for the cookies an got sad. In addition, I got very emotional on the scene that Ding Dong welcomed when Dokgo Jin returned. I expected with Gu Ae Jung the same. I laughed the scene that Dokgo Jin stepped on the herbal med and stepped on the bed, too. I loved the scene when they killed all the potatoes and leave one and grow it. At first I was thinking ‘This man is charismatic?’ but I must confess at the end of the drama I find him charisma, a lot. What a nice 40 years old.

I laughed a lot when Kang Se Ri tries to see Pil Jo and when she is hiding, she gets caught everytime. At first she was like devil but at the end she was sweet. And She was not in love with the Lead actor unlike the other dramas she just got jealous of Gu Ae Jung. What bothers me is woman leading role could be more dominant, in the first episode she was strong but later she was concessive. It was a plus one that even though Dokgo Jin has bad comments about her, she wanted tos tay with him and didnt give up.
And.. As a person who doesnt like the final episodes of the kdramas, this final episode relieved me. Especially, When Dokgo Jin, after the commercial shooting, said that he had a stuff to do and g oto market tos hop for his baby an deven while doing that he was so cool. And of course it was so sweet when he fell asleep with his baby. Shall we try the “6090” password? I think we will see the relationships in the media as a contract!

Yong-Pal / 용팔이

This is a Korean drama about a young, successful surgeon (Kim Tae Hyun) tries to find money for his sister to get her cured. But the money from his job is not enough and he tries to get money with illegal ways. He goes night calls from criminals who cannot go hospital. The police tries to find him. Then his hospital chief understands that he is YongPal and makes him go treat VIP patients, secretly. There is a secret room in the hospital. Tae Hyun thinks if he is able to see whats in there he could get more money. So he tries to find out and he finally goes in there. There is a woman (Han Yeo Jin) in the room who is in coma for 3 years. Everything changes when she wants to make a deal with him.

And my opinion about this drama? I watch all episodes they were thrilling. But there was too many conspirations. I was about to cry. Everyone was doing something behind someone's back. You cant trust anyone. And that pissed me off. I become paranoid while watching. I though "Oh he/she doesnt look good. His/her glances are bad. I'm sure he/she will do something bad. He/she is hiding something.". I nearly had a heart attack. Anyway, I wanted to watch this because Joo Won was in it and I read some good comments about the drama. Ok, I recommend it but I should tell you you need to calm down while watching. :)
Let's see the characters.

Kim Tae Hyun / Joo Won                                           Han Yeo Jin / Kim Tae Hee

The surgeon and our boy.                               Our rich girl. She has everything but
He is perfect in every way.                                  the control of her body.

Han Do Joon / Jo Hyun Jae                                    Lee Chae Young / Chae Jung An

The rich girl's crazy brother.                                The crazy brother's love.
He is jealous of her for some reason                    She doesnt love him.
and tries to get everything for himself.                 She makes him crazy.

Lee Ho Joon / Jung Woong In
Our chief surgeon. He works for the crazy brother.

There were a lot of characters so I chose the important ones. You cannot say this is bad one this is good one. It is like Ying Yang. Everybody has a reason to be in that way. But there is no pure evil or good. Some characters are only good but the main ones are complicated.

Anywayss Here some photos of the drama:

That's all. Enjoy watching!

We do not own the photos. If you want us to remove, please let us know.

A Turkish Music : Nihavend Longa

Hi!
Today, I chose a very old song and I did a special compilation with different versions of the song by precious musicians for the ones who are in love with the power of music,as I am, and like to share this love. Personally, I love all versions individually. And the song is : Nihavend Longa by Ms. Kemani Kevser.
The emphasis here on Ms. Kemani Kevser is really important for me. Because she is one of the women composers in Ottoman Empire. When we think about that it is hard to be a woman in this world, people fight for women's rights and in the past, the women composers' works were stolen and presented as if they are belong to someone else, this is a big success that, in late 1800s, a woman's compositions have a very precious place in the music tradition.
This is a big success that it is still known in Turkey. It is used in a few movies and some TV ads. At the same time, I don't have an idea about how this happened but in Ramadan times, it is in every TV ad just like a generic music of a TV show. This composition which is sometimes joyful and sometimes melancholic has a magnificent beat.
From my own experiences, this composition is very hard to play. Real masters give it a very tasteful interpretation.

Let's come to presentation of this composition's different versions. Here: Turkish music, jazz and with violin, zither, drum,kabak-kemani, baglama and clarinet versions. Various kinds.

One more for the a capella lovers! Please comment. Enjoy the music!

Magnificent Century / Muhteşem Yüzyıl

                                     Muhteşem Yüzyıl

This is a Turkish series about Kanuni Sultan Suleyman’s life in the times of Ottoman Empire. You can see how Hurrem Sultan who used to be insignificant odalisque changed the Palace’s order and gained power with wicked games she played. Line in every historical drama, you can also see games of throne and secret plans in this one, too. You may see a lot, it makes you even stressed. The series has 4 seasons and nearly in 150 country, it aired (is still airing some of them). Is criticised for not telling the real story, showing the an emperor of a big empire when always enjoying himself and telling a story this old in a really detailed way even though it is in very old times to know that much about it etc. If you like historical dramas, if you can watch series this long and stay calm despite this much injustice these series are for you.
