This is a very popular song from the film Flashdance in 1983. Single by Irene Cara , written by Giorge Moroder, Keith Forsey.
Irene Cara won the Academy Award for Best Original Song, the Golden Globe Award for Best Original Song
and the Grammy Award for Best Female Pop Vocal Performance. The song is covered dozens of times.
I think the music video is beautiful and peaceful.

French singer Priscilla Betti released a French version of the song named "Cette vie nouvelle" as the second single from her debut album Cette vie nouvelle (2002).
